Co-application of organic amendments and inorganic P increase maize growth and soil carbon, phosphorus availability in calcareous soil

چکیده

Phosphorus (P) constraint can be alleviated by increasing C inputs, which help to improve crop production and P fertilizer use efficiency. However, the effects of different manures on soil microbial biomass (MBP) fractions as well in calcareous soils remain poorly understood. Soil MBP pool involves mineralization immobilization processes, potentially changing availability. Therefore, (MBP, MBC) pool, P, utilization were evaluated greenhouse experiments with maize plantation. Treatments included no manure (control), poultry (PM), cow (CM), goat (GM), mixed (MM), three inorganic (Pi) rates; P0: 0 mg kg-1, P50: 50 P100: P100 kg-1 (P2O5). For plant growth comparison, physiological indices, shoot contents total uptake increased PM compared other treatments. The significantly inducing ∼18% control. results exhibited that Pi (P100) combined (PM) ( p < 0.05) physicochemical properties, is, 683.76 21.5 Olsen 4.26 g SOC, 2.41 POC, 152.84 36.83 respectively. Consequently, we concluded application builds up biomass, is more beneficial for promoting maize.

Organic Phosphorus Source Effects on Calcareous Soil Phosphorus and Organic Carbon

The loading, solubility, mobility, and plant availability of P is a growing environmental concern to regulators and planners of nutrient management plans, confined animal feeding operations, and wastewater land application permit sites. Insufficient information is available on how P reacts from different organic sources when applied to calcareous soils. A field study was conducted to determine ...

Organic and inorganic nitrogen amendments to soil as nematode suppressants.

Inorganic fertilizers containing ammoniacal nitrogen or formulations releasing this form of N in the soil are most effective for suppressing nematode populations. Anhydrous ammonia has been shown to reduce soil populations of Tylenchorhynchus claytoni, Helicotylenchus dihystera, and Heterodera glycines. The rates required to obtain significant suppression of nematode populations are generally i...
